Prometric, DHA, HAAD, MOH Training




Introduction

This course meant for nurses who wish to attend the license exams to various Gulf countries.

Saudi Prometric

Prometric examination for nurses is the familiar name of Saudi Licensing examinations which assess the competency level of health professionals and passing this examination is a mandatory requirement for nurses who is seeking licence or work visa in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

There Prometric Exam for Nurses is a computer-based test (CBT) of 3 hours which is composed of 150 questions in multiple-choice format.

A passing rate of 45% should be acquired by nurse technicians and a passing rate of 50% for nurse specialists.

The questions mainly distributed over following subjects:

  • Fundamental of Nursing
  • Medical surgical nursing
  • Community health Nursing
  • Paediatric nursing
  • Mental health Nursing

Qatar Prometric

The Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioner considers the computer based exam(Prometric ) as one of the requirements for registration/ licencing of health care professionals to ensure the efficacy and eligibility of applicants to wok safely in the state of Qatar.

The examination for registered general nurses and registered midwives comprises of 100 questions for the duration of 2 ½ hours and minimum 50% score is required to pass the exam.

HAAD Exam

Healthcare professionals in Abu Dhabi must obtain their license through the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD) and therefore, must take the HAAD Exam. This exam comprises of 150 multiple choice type questions and total duration of exam is 180 minutes.

MOH

MOH exam is the doorway exam for every health professionals who seeks licence in UAE and willing to work in hospitals or any health care centers in Sharjah and other northern Emirates(Ras al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm al Quwain, Ajman). This is an online exam consist of multiple choice questions and the applicant is granted a total of three attempts to pass the examination.

DHA

The nurses who wish to work in Dubai must be registered with the Dubai Health Authority(DHA) and will be required to write the Dubai Prometric exam.

The Dubai Prometric exam is a 2 hours multiple-choice questions which consists of 70 questions and the candidates are expected to score at least 60% (42 questions ). Results are usually released within 5 working days.
