IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication. IELTS is required for entry to university in countries like Australia, UK, Canada, USA and New Zealand.
CBT (United Kingdom)
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the regulatory board for nurses and midwives in the United Kingdom (UK) has established the administration of a two part test of competence for nurses and midwives seeking registration in the UK. These tests of competence have been made mandatory since October 2014 for nurses and midwives trained outside the European Economic Area, seeking UK registration.
Introduction to IRON/ Registration Bridging Programme (IRBP)

General Duty Assistant (GDA)
General Duty Assistant (GDA) is also known as “Nursing Care Assistants”, “Nursing Assistants”, “Nursing Aides”, in a hospital setting. General Duty Assistant provide patient’s daily care, patient’s comfort, patient’s safety and assist the patient to meet their health needs. They should practice infection control policy and know right methods of bio medical waste management. GDA works in collaboration with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver the prescribed healthcare services to their patients.
Home Health Aide (HHA)
This course is designed to train students in providing routine individualized healthcare to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities at the patient’s home. The focus of Home Health Aide (HHA) is to provide assistance to a patient with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, assisting patients while maintaining normal elimination process and also to monitor or report changes in health status.
Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B)
This course is designed to train candidates to provide emergency medical support and care to individuals who are critically ill or injured and transport them to a medical facility within stipulated time limits. EMT-B collaborates with other health care professionals and family members, within the limits of their competence and authority to provide basic and immediate care to severely injured or ill clients. This course is a central government recognized certificate course by Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) under the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC).
