  • About the course

    This job requires the individual to work in collaboration with patient carers and other healthcare providers. After completion of the course the candidate will be able to provide routine individualized healthcare to the elderly, convalescents or persons with disabilities at the patient’s home. Monitor or report changes in health status. Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of patient.
    This is marked under NSQF standard level 4. The total course duration is 360 hours. During the training the candidate will get an opportunity to practice all the procedures in skill lab and hospital. The competencies will be assessed by HSSC allocated assessors at the end of the course.

  • Qualification and prerequisite

    Class X (Class VIII also will consider in specific situations).

  • Course award

    On the successful completion of the course, the student will be awarded Home health aide Certificate by Healthcare Sector Skill Council.

  • Eligibility criteria for Admission

    •  Minimum educational qualifications: Preferably Class X, but class VIII is also considered in certain situations.
    •  Maximum educational qualifications: Not Applicable
    •  Minimum Job Entry Age: 18 Years
    •  Maximum Job Entry Age: 35 Years
