ASHI Basic First Aid is an objectives-driven, skills-based training program. The ASHI Basic First Aid training program provides workplace and community training in first aid emergency skills. The goal of this training is to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond in a medical emergency.

This 48-hour course is consistent with national EMS curriculum requirements and educations standards, however, it is not the intent of the ASHI Emergency Medical Response program to cross the EMS scope of practice threshold.
